Odaily News Coinbase announced that it has launched a $5 million bug bounty program in collaboration with security platform Cantina, focusing on security reviews of its on-chain products and Base network smart contracts. The program is regarded as a benchmark project in the field of Web3 security, and aims to strengthen the security of infrastructure supporting institutional and consumer applications through structured processes and collaboration with global security researchers.
According to Anmol Malhotra, Coinbase’s head of product security, this move is another important step in Coinbase’s commitment to future security for open on-chain development. The bounty program is now live on the Cantina platform and is now open to researchers to participate.
