Monkephone CTO publicly accuses Moonshot project team of fraud and dishonesty
Odaily News The CTO of the Monkephone project published an article on the X platform, publicly accusing Moonshot and its head Sidewinder of serious fraud, breach of trust and manipulation. He said that the Moonshot team promised internal assistance including KOL resources, financial support, exchange listing and market value management at the beginning of the project, but ultimately failed to deliver.
The CTO said that Moonshot was previously suspected of manipulating the Moondoge pre-sale and cashing out by taking advantage of investors’ blind spots in understanding the packaging mechanism. He pointed out that he initially trusted Moonshot and relayed the other party’s promise to others, which eventually led to personal losses and reputation damage. He emphasized that Moonshot had no intention of truly supporting projects within the ecosystem, but only guided developers and funds into its platform through false promises.
This statement also provided evidence for similar doubts raised by Mooncoin developers and other community members, triggering extensive discussion in the community about the integrity and operating model of the Moonshot platform.
